Please join us for an intimate Jewish women’s charity empowerment evening, as we raise Ukraine relief efforts for Yeka Girls - a global Ukranian-Jewish organization supporting women and girls affected by the conflict. Our event will take place on Tuesday, December 6th, 2022 at 7:30 PM.

In partnership with jewelry designer, Kim Smiley and live from her showroom in Midtown Toronto, we are delighted to present a curation of spoken words from female speakers in the Toronto Jewish community, with an exciting jewelry fashion show component.

Toronto-based Kim Smiley’s lace jewelry is made by hand locally in Toronto by newcomers for a Living Wage, with a mission of “Igniting a Global Compassion & Fashion Revolution” and mantra of “Beauty for the Public Good”™. As we grapple with the atrocities of the Ukrainian War over the course of this year, our empowerment evening will instill a love of goodwill for the women and girls whom we know are inspiring a generation across the globe to pursue in the face of adversity.

Our evening’s charity partnership for Yeka Girls and Kim Smiley will creatively speak to the 5 pillars of the brand, using fashion as a tool to educate, and drawing parallels to our own lives as Jewish women - empowering us to speak up on atrocities in the world today.

Yeka Girls is a California based Registered 501c3 nonprofit organization, originally founded in 2015. They provide a loving and safe environment where Jewish girls from all over the Ukraine in orphanages and other unfortunate situations could go during their school breaks. Due to the devastating nature of the war on Ukraine over the course of 2022, Yeka Girls have taken a forefront role in conflict relief, working to assist Jewish-Ukrainian girls in leading safe and fulfilled lives.
