Join us on Tuesday September 6th, 2016 for our Tour De Lake - Orientation Bike Ride at Humber Lakeshore Campus.

This is your chance to tour the Lakeshore community - what better way to do it than on a bike?

As a participant you have the chance to WIN PRIZES with the GRAND PRIZES being:        

A NEW Bicycle with bike lock   

A Fitbit Charge HR

**Winners will be announced at the end of the event.

IMPORTANT:                                                                                                 

There are 2 bike ride times lasting roughly 45 mins - 1 hour                             

TOUR 1 - 2:00pm - 3:00pm                                                                   
TOUR 2 - 3:15pm - 4:15pm                     

**Participants must be students of Humber College. 

**ALL Participants will receive a FREE snack after the ride and a t-shirt.      

**Please arrive on time to secure your bike. Spots limited.

Tours will start with a bike safety demonstration followed by a guided tour along a pre-arranged route with a respective group leader.

Groups will stop at points along the paths to explore the surrounding environment and to get a first-glimpse of the businesses in the community. Stopping at local businesses you will receive special offers and discounts at participating stores.

Frequently Asked Questions
 
Are bikes and helmets provided?

We will provide the bicycles and helmets for the event to all participants. Spots are limited - you must register to reserve your bicycle. If you wish to bring your own helmet and bicycle, you are welcomed to do so. 
 
Are friends and family invited?

This event is aimed at introducing first-year students to the surronding Lakeshore community. We kindly ask that friends and family refrain from selecting tickets for this event. If friends and family wish to attend the event they should email kavelle.deonanan@humber.ca for more information. 

I'm driving to the event, where can I park?
 
There is pay-parking available in the west-side parking lot behind A/B Building at $4.00 for 4 hours and $7.00 for the entire day. From there you can access the pathway to heading east to Colonel Samuel Smith Park Dr. in order to access the Student Welcome and Resource Centre. 
 
What if it rains on the day of the event?
 
The event will go on rain or shine. Should thunderstorms/lightning occur we will cancel the event and send out an email to everyone about the cancellation and any other developments.
 
There are no more tickets left to select, can I still come?
 
Due to the nature of the event we have a limited number of spots. Once all spots have been filled we will open a waitlist for people to register on. We will contact people on the waitlist should a spot(s) become available. You are also welcome to stop by on the day of the event to see if a spot has opened up. 

Are there any costs associated with the event?

This is a FREE event. There are no costs associated with the event. We will be stopping at businesses along the bike route and should you wish to purchase an item that is your decision and cost.
