Tour of St. Mary's Cement, Bowmanville facility

Want to know about the entire Bowmanville facility including quarry, milling, kiln and pyro processing line? How about the emissions control systems like Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction for NOx reduction, lime hydrator for SO2 control as well as control room and quality control systems?

The event will start with a 30 minute presentation, followed by a 1-2 hour walk around. Martin Vroegh will present some interesting initiatives on Plant power consumption and a review of the the Plants ISO 50001 status. Some key aspects of the Plant Power system will be highlighted.

Work boots required. There will be a limited supply of hard hat, safety glasses, & hearing protection but bring your own if you can.
