Tourism and Hospitality Hiring Fair

Are you looking forward to connecting with employers in-person and getting hired before the holidays? WorkBC Richmond, British Columbia Hotel Association, and Richmond Public Library are pleased to connect job seekers and employers for an afternoon of engagement and networking at the Tourism & Hospitality Hiring Fair.

It is an in-person event

During this in-person, exhibition-format hiring fair, job seekers will have the opportunity to meet with local employers to cultivate employment interests and establish connections.

Positions include Managerial, Admin, House Keeping, Food Service, Sales & Customer Service, Ski Operation, Maintenance and more.

Thursday, Nov 25, Register for your preferred time slot

There will be ten 25-minute time slots from 12 pm to 5:30 pm, with a maximum of 20 job seekers per appointment time. This means that each registered job seeker will have 25-minute to network with the employers on the selected time slots.

When each 25-minute session is over, we will ask all job seekers to leave the hiring fair area as the staff needs to sanitize the stations.

Please select your most convenient time slot and make sure to come on-time.

Event registration is mandatory, unregistered job seeker will not be accommodated for walk-in.

FAQ

Q: Should I bring my resume with me for this in-person hiring fair?

A: Job seekers could bring resumes and share those with the employers. However, some employers would encourage interested candidates to apply directly on the corporate career page.

Q: If I need more time to network with employers, what should I do?

A: You may re-enter the hiring fair area if there are remaining seats for the next time slot. In addition, we will share all relevant links (e.g. career pages + employment service sign-up page) to all registrants after the event.
