About this event
A choral concert “starring” the University of Guelph Choirs, conducted by Dr. Marta McCarthy and accompanied by Betty Maher. A professional string quartet is also featured in several pieces, including the glorious Cantique de Jean Racine by Gabriel Fauré, and a rarely-performed Cantata by Michael Haydn. The latter is a charming work that beckons the shepherds in Bethlehem to follow the light of the Star. Other works encourage us all to follow our own light, whether that be The Light of Hope, The Light Around Us, or The Light Within Us.
