Event Details

Join thePANEL on May 13th 2019 as we welcome top experts and Indigenous business policy thinkers for an evening of networking and policy debate.

Today, Indigenous businesses are more likely than others to be exporting or working with foreign investors.

Yet, only recently have we started to consider Indigenous perspectives and priorities in our national trade agenda.

Our panelist will be debating the other side of reconciliation, taking the conversation beyond apologies and acknowledging injustices and focusing on the role that economic sovereignty plays in the reconciliation process.

Moderated by:

Karen Restoule

Angela Demontigny,  International Indigenous Designer

Jace Meyer, Shopify

Daniel Mellsop,  New Zealand High Commissioner To Canada
