Join LUSH Valley and Chef Jasper Gagne Tuesday, May 10th for Community Kitchen Workshop: Japanese Pickles with a Traditional Salmon Dinner.*
In this class, we will learn how to make traditional Japanese dashi, how to pickle vegetables with fermented koji, and how to make, serve and enjoy miso soup, edamame beans and steamed fish in parchment. Participants will learn how to prepare these foods hands-on then will sit down to dine together as a group.
The evening will end on a sweet note with a salted cherry blossom cookie. Raven's Moon Cider and Blue Moon Wine will be available for purchase and enjoyment at any time during the class.
