About this Event

"Train the Next Hero!", presented by Coast2Coast First Aid & Aquatics, is an annual free event with a goal to teach the citizens of Toronto basic life saving skills while raising awareness about the importance of knowing First Aid & CPR. This free workshop takes place on August 8th at Mel Lastman Square in North York. This is an all ages workshop and we encourage you to attend with your family. Help us set a record for the largest Life Saving Workshop in Canada and reserve your spot today!

What To Expect:

  • Observe our professional instructors to learn, practice and master life saving skills at our different First Aid and CPR stations
  • Earn a Coast2Coast First Aid & CPR Workshop Participation Certificate upon successfully completing all stations
  • Receive a gift bag after completing the workshop successfully
  • Babysitting and Stay Safe workshop for children and teenagers to learn techniques on how to be safe when they’re unsupervised
  • Entertainment for children; colouring booth, bouncy castle and much more!
  • Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase

Ticket Information:

Tickets are reserved based on workshop starting times. Entry is FREE. The full workshop takes roughly 40 minutes to complete and you may stay as long as you like after/prior completing it.

PLEASE READ:

If you do not reserve a ticket prior to attending, you may still attend the workshop. By reserving your ticket, you will skip the registration line. If you miss your start time, you may attend a later start time. Please bring a copy of your ticket to the event and arrive early.

You will be separated into groups and led by a workshop volunteer to each station. Please be sure to arrive early in order to attend the workshop you registered for.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Please be advised that this is not a full Canadian Red Cross CPR training. If you wish to attain a Canadian Red Cross certification, please check out our website at www.c2cfirstaidaquatics.com or call us at 866-291-9121.

This workshop takes roughly 40 minutes to complete. You must complete all 6 stations in order to receive your Coast2Coast First Aid & CPR Workshop Participation Certificate and gift bag. Please check in with the registration booth as you arrive. You will receive all necessary materials to begin the workshop.

All ages are welcome to attend. Although the main event is geared towards adults, we will also have an area for children and teenagers to learn Babysitting and Stay Safe skills. Your children will learn basic first aid, how to care for younger children, how to keep themselves safe and more! There will also be a colouring booth and bouncy castle available.
