About the Training Program & Certificate in ESG Briefing
The training program consists of three half-day and two full-day sessions over a two-month period. On the fifth and final session, interested issuers will be given the opportunity to present their ESG briefs to global institutional investors and receive direct feedback.
This hands-on learning opportunity will provide participants with insights about the ESG information needs of investors, frameworks to structure an ESG presentation, and how leading issuers have developed effective ESG briefings. The program will guide participants through the process of creating their own ESG brief.
Upon completion of the training program, each participant will be provided with a Certificate.
Why Communicate Your ESG Story to Investors?
- Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) issues are now mainstream considerations for institutional investors. Eight of the ten largest pension plans in Canada have signed the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) and have committed to integrating ESG factors into their investment decisions.
- To lessen the divide that exists between the ESG information that investors are looking for and what issuers are providing.
- To demonstrate the relationship between the ESG issues and corporate strategy, short and long-term value creation and risk management.
The fee for this program is $3,500 CAD +HST per participant. Registration is limited to fifteen (15) issuers and each issuer may register up to three (3) participants. Priority will be given on a first come first serve basis.
