TrakSYS Advanced Training, April 2021

Remote TrakSYS Advanced is a 3-day instructor-led, hands-on, remote training course designed for experienced users with a working knowledge of TrakSYS features and capabilities. The course explores in detail the features and capabilities of TrakSYS through a series of half-day modules that focus on solutions for Operations and Performance Management. The course also teaches participants how to customize and extend the software's base functionality to satisfy unique solution requirements.

Upon completion of this course, participants will develop a comprehensive knowledge of how TrakSYS features and capabilities are combined and deployed to deliver specific solutions. The course will introduce development frameworks and tools within the software that are based on standard, non-proprietary technologies such as Microsoft.NET, HTML, and JavaScript, and offer examples of how these can be used with advanced configuration options to add new capabilities to TrakSYS. Participants will also learn how to build custom forms, interface screens, and reports to meet specific user requirements for working with a TrakSYS solution.

Course Prerequisites:

Completion of the TrakSYS Introduction Training Course or experience with an existing TrakSYS application (version 7 R2 or greater).

Where is the location of the class?

This class will be held remotely via Zoom. If you are not familiar with Zoom, this is free downloadable software, but can also be accessed purely through the web. While downloading the application is not required, we recommend doing so, as this will allow you to screen share with the course instructors so they can best assist you during the course.

What are the device requirements needed to attend this remote course?

Please ensure that your device meets the following minimum requirements:

• PC with Windows 7, 8 or 10
• Capable of Remote Desktop Connection (please enable this Windows feature before the class)
• Widescreen Resolution (minimum of 1600 pixels wide, recommended 1920 x 1080)

Do I need an Internet connection to attend this class?

Yes, you will need an Internet connection in order to attend this remote training course.

Do I need to download course material ahead of time?

We will be creating a Microsoft Azure Cloud environment for use during the training. All of the materials will be hosted there. To access it, you will need a machine that can make a Remote Desktop Connection to that network. Please ensure that the machine you can use a Remote Desktop Connection and that it will be on a network that will allow access to it. An example IP can be requested the week before the training course to verify your connectivity if needed. The presentation of the material will be completed through Zoom.

Does my device need to have a speaker or a microphone?

No. Zoom provides both dial-in conference number for phone audio, as well as options for computer audio if that is better suited to your workstation.

Will there be scheduled breaks for meals, stretching, etc. during the course?

Yes, there will be scheduled breaks throughout the day, every day of the course.

Is my ticket transferrable?

Yes, if you are unable to attend the remote training class, you may transfer your ticket to another contact at your organization.
