TRANSFORMATIVE PLASTICS CHALLENGES with Foresight and Innovative Solutions Canada

Foresight is pleased to present Innovative Solutions Canada (ISC) for a one-day event that showcases the federal government’s new challenge-based innovations program.

Innovative Solutions Canada is a new program with over $100 million dedicated to supporting the scale up and growth of Canada’s innovators and entrepreneurs by having the federal government act as a first customer. Twenty participating federal departments and agencies will set aside a portion of funding to support the creation of innovative solutions by Canadian small businesses.

This first event is all about innovations in PLASTICS covering everything from packaging to construction waste to fisheries and more. This program is aimed at everyone from innovators and academia to investors and associations, all key stakeholders in how we manufacture, manage, reuse and reduce plastic products and waste.

Throughout the day, you will have access to several levels of government, learning about programs and opportunities designed to drive cleantech and sustainability across Canada. You will also have the opportunity to listen to panel discussions on what makes these programs the future of government support for innovation in Canada. Plus, if you have a technology or product in the Plastics space, you can set up a booth and share your story in our facility.
