Continuing into its fifth year, the University of British Columbia Postgraduate Medical Education Transition into Practice Program is offering the Transition Tuesdays Seminar Series. These monthly one-hour workshops, held Tuesdays of the month (except in May), will cover a wide range of topics on everything from financial planning and investing to billing to managing your office. Residents in all levels are welcome to attend.

The seminars are presented by industry experts as well as UBC educators. A good portion of time is allotted for Q&As.

The workshops are offered both in person and remote audience connect anywhere via Next GenVC.

Seating is limited for in-person attendance so please register early. Light supper is served from 5:30 PM.

Virtual audience registration is unlimited.

The Rural Physician Mentoring Program (RPMP) is a 10-month program that matches seasoned, experienced family physicians and specialists with new medical school graduates, international medical graduates and colleagues who are going through a significant transition in their medical practice, such as finishing residency.

For this presentation, we’ll have two graduates of UBC’s Family Medicine Residency Program speak about their experiences with the RPMP, and how it has helped them build connections and community in their rural practice.
