Traumatic Brain Injury and the Criminal Justice System

In this webinar you will learn the following:

  • the definition and risk factors of traumatic brain injury (TBI) 
  • the prevalence and burden of TBI among correctional populations 
  •  
    screening and support for TBI populations
  •  
    approaches to practice when you encounter someone with a TBI

HSJCC Network (local, regional, and provincial members), professionals of human services and justice sectors, individuals with lived experience, and government ministry staff.

The Evidence Exchange Network (EENet) connects mental health and addictions stakeholders across Ontario. The network promotes the use of evidence in decision making, develops targeted knowledge translation products and tools, and supports interactive exchanges. For more information visit eenet.ca.
 
The International Initiative for Mental Health Leadership (IIMHL) is a unique international collaborative that focuses on improving mental health and addictions services. IIMHL is a collaboration of eight countries: Australia, England, Canada, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, Scotland, USA, and Sweden.

IIMHL organises systems for international innovation sharing, networking and problem-solving across countries and agencies. The overall aim is to provide better outcomes for people who use mental health and addiction services and their families.
