17 yr. old photographer/filmmaker & social entrepreneur,
Kasha Sequoia Slavner
Travels Into The Heart© is a compilation of 32 photographs from Kasha Sequoia Slavner's recent six month travels in East Africa and Southeast Asia. The show had its inaugural exhibition in New York and Portland this year. This will be it's Toronto debut. It features some of the inspiring stories of hope and human triumph which will be in her upcoming documentary film The Sunrise Storyteller©.
The event will also preview Kasha's new travel photography book Reflections of the Sunrise Storyteller© - A Journey Into The Heart As A Global Citizen.
A portion of the evening's fundraising activities from Kasha's Cards of Kindness© ( Kasha's photography) will help to raise money for The Canadian Voice of Women for Peace -Youth Leadership Camp in Ontario and for K-Robs Social Enterprise which provide educational resources & scholarships for children & youth in Tanzania.
