Event Details

What impact does commuting have in Waterloo Region?  What programs can help make sustainable commuting easier for you?

Stop by our Lunch-n-Learn for an engaging presentation on the commuting options that are available to University of Waterloo employees. TravelWise will share some of the sustainable transportation tools that you can use, and our guest speaker from the Rapid Transit project will provide updates and take questions on the exciting investments that Waterloo Region is making into LRT/aBRT.

Coffee, juice, and light snacks will be provided.

Guest Speaker:

Our guest speaker for this event will be Kimberly Moser, the Rapid Transit Community Relations Manager.  Kimberly works closely with the engineering team to ensure that the project has a positive community impact on Waterloo Region, and to help answer community questions throughout the implementation process.  She brings experience managing the communication and marketing during the launch of the BRT project with the City of Brampton.  She will review some of the updates for Waterloo Region's LRT/aBRT and answer questions that you may have on the project.

What should I bring?
