Trillium Book Award 2017 Author Readings

Doors open 6:30 p.m. Readings begin at 7:00 pm

Ontario's Trillium Book Award honours literary excellence by our province's authors and their books. Ontario Media Development Corporation (OMDC) is proud to have the opportunity to showcase the talent and diversity of some of Ontario's finest authors at this events. We have a terrific line-up of participating authors from this year's shortlist.

Participating authors in English language are: André Alexis (The Hidden Keys,Kamal Al-Solaylee (Brown), Danila Botha (For All the Men (and Some of the Women) I’ve Known), Leesa Dean (Waiting for the Cyclone),Susan Holbrook (Throaty Wipes), Melanie Mah (The Sweetest One), Laurie D. Graham (Settler Education: Poems), Meaghan Strimas (Yes or Nope) and Dane Swan (A Mingus Lullaby). French language authors participating are:Jean Boisjoli (La mesure du temps), Louis L’Allier (Nikolaos, le copiste), Éric Mathieu (Les suicidés d’Eau-Claire), Paul-François Sylvestre (Cinquante ans de « p’tits bonheurs » au Théâtre français de Toronto), Michèle Vinet (L’enfant-feu), Pierre-Luc Bélanger (Ski, blanche et avalanche), Gilles Dubois (Nanuktalva), and Daniel Marchildon (Zazette, la chatte des Ouendats)
