TRIUMF Public Tours

These free tours provided by student volunteers are limited to 15 participants. The tour is provided by TRIUMF's Graduate and Postdoc Society student volunteers. The schedule is dependent on their availability away from academic work or research.

The public tours are a 45-minute walking exploring the two largest research halls within the 13-acre site. Participants are required to walk, climb stairs, and stand for the duration of the tour. While a more accessible route is available for those that require it, much of the lab's scale is best viewed from above.

Tour requirements:

• You are required to secure a ticket for each participant in your group.
• All guests are required to observe site safety information below prior to arrival on site. Notify the tour guide of any individual needs upon arrival.
• Close-toed shoes and pants or shorts are mandatory.

Arrive early for your ticketed time. Tour guides cannot hold up the whole group , and will depart on time.
