About this Event

Acts of Kindness for Mental Health Foundation (The AOK Project) has teamed up with the talented and hilarious Danny Mags from BINGPOT! Trivia for our first ever Virtual Trivia Night. You are invited to gather from the comfort of your own home (whether it be east coast, west coast or anywhere in between) for a safe evening of fun, laughter and trivia. After all, who doesn't love a little healthy competition?

Participation is BY DONATION (either individually, or as a household). Come as you are; sweatpants and all! Grab some snacks and a drink (or two). Play as a team, on your own, play against your friends, family, partners or roommates. And HAVE FUN! Proceeds from the event go to Acts of Kindness for Mental Health Foundation in support of child and youth mental health.

What is Acts of Kindness for Mental Health Foundation (The AOK Project)?

The AOK Project provides wellness grants to children, youth, and their families who have been affected by mental health and are in need of financial support. In turn, the recipients are encouraged to provide acts of kindness to a person or organization of their choice. This creates and fosters circles of kindness.

Where do proceeds from ticket sales go?

All proceeds from ticket sales are a donation to Acts of Kindness for Mental Health Foundation (The AOK Project). When you donate to The AOK Project, give confidently knowing that all of the proceeds go directly towards child and youth mental health recovery. Providing acts of kindness to children and youth with mental health challenges and financial hardship supports their recovery while promoting gratitude, compassion and resilience.

Who is Danny Mags?

A healthy blend of entertainer and entrepreneur, Danny Mags couldn't find a trivia night he liked enough in the city of Toronto, so he decided to start his own! Most recognizable from his role on Family Channel's Life with Derek, Danny has over 20 years experience in film, television, broadcast, and live events! A natural entertainer who loves hosting his game just as much as his players love playing, Danny will keep you smiling all night long!

What is BINGPOT! Trivia?

Equal parts pub quiz and live game-show, BINGPOT! has been bringing people together since it was founded in Toronto in 2016. Our game consists of five rounds, from a Picture Round to the musical BINGPOT! JAMPOT and many things in between! Questions range from Pop Culture to sports, history to culinary arts, and much more. All of our private events can be customized for the perfect length and content to keep your party engaged. BINGPOT! will be the event your group will be talking about for months!

Is there a prize?

ABSOLUTELY! And of course there's also bragging rights! At the end of trivia, the winning individual/team will receive a prize.

Where and how do I play?

Join us from anywhere you've got a great Wi-Fi connection. Whether that's home on the couch, in your bedroom, your office, your car, your tent, your backyard, or your garage!

All participants/teams will receive detailed game instructions , but here's what you need to know:

• A link with login details will be provided
• Each participant/team will download and complete an answer sheet as we play(digital or print available)
• Those playing as a team will be required to elect a Team Captain
• Teams/participants will self score #trust

How early should I arrive?

We recommend getting set up about 10 minutes before the event start. This will give you time to pour drinks, open some snacks, settle into your seat and get your technology sorted.

How long is Trivia?

Trivia will take roughly 1.5 - 2 hours.

Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Not at all! In the spirit of community, everyone is welcome! But if you're under the age of 14, we always recommend getting permission from your parents or guardians to play.
