TRU Alumni is using eventbrite.ca to manage event attendance at TRU AlumNight events. Eventbrite is a cloud-based ticketing and registration platform. Thompson Rivers University (TRU) collects, uses, discloses and retains personal information in compliance with the BC Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA). Any personal information collected through the Eventbrite platform is permitted under section 26(c) of the FIPPA. Registration through Eventbrite is voluntary. Please be aware that IP addresses, event responses and personal email addresses (if supplied in place of a business email address) will be collected by Eventbrite and stored and accessed from outside of Canada. Eventbrite will take reasonable steps to protect your personal information as set out in their Privacy Policy.
