Join us for a full day program of Aboriginal issues and events, including a Land Acknowledgement Statement by Michael Cheena, Kairos Blanket Exercise with Dawn Maracle, and a screening and discussion of "In Jesus Name: Shattering the Silence of St. Anne’s Residential School"

Kairos Blanket Exercise with Dawn Maracle: Step into the roles of Canada’s Indigenous Peoples throughout 500 years of colonial history. A unique participatory lesson fostering truth, understanding and respect. 10 am-1 pm.

Film Screening and Discussion: In Jesus Name: Shattering the Silence of St. Anne’s Residential School. A poignant documentary film breaking silences imposed upon indigenous children interned at the notoriously violent St. Anne’s Residential School. With Film Director Sue Enberg. 2-4 pm.
