Description

Make a toy, Give a toy! The STEAM Project is holding a toy drive for community members looking to spread a little love for the holiday season!

Youth looking to spread some holiday cheer are encouraged to join us on Saturday, December 15, at The STEAM Project Headquarters in Richmond Hill for an evening of fun and giving.

You’ll be customizing and helping to package toy STEAM Bots to be distributed throughout the community!

Each participant (elf) will pick out two sets of parts to make two STEAM bots. They will assemble one for themselves, and put together an assembly package “twin” to be donated to the toy drive. Every bot pair will be unique! Elves will also name their bot, and the packaged twin to be donated! Who knows, maybe you’ll meet your STEAM bot twin one day! #TSPbot2018

Because there are a few intricate parts that need to be assembled, the recommended age to help assemble packages and build bots is from ages 9 to 16.

Registration for this event is mandatory and there is a $10 donation fee that will be collected at the door to support local charities through the holiday season.

*Registration is limited by capacity, so please register early!
