Event Details

You are invited to come and experience your city through the eyes of a tourist. Join us at OSSCO on Tuesday July 25, 2017 at 3:00 PM when our guest speaker Peter Odle, will highlight the best of Toronto and show you how to get the most of your city. Come and discover the attractions and events best suited for your schedule and accessibility. Map out your top picks and enjoy the many celebrations around your city this summer.

About our speaker:

An educator and entrepreneur, Peter Odle is the founder and CEO of Urban Expeditions. Peter and his team pride themselves on being in the "business of storytelling" and helping business and leisure travelers build an authentic local relationship with the city. His passion for exploration and learning remain at the core of each city tour and game. In his words, “Our goal is to help people build a more profound and commodious relationship with the city.”

Urban Expeditions Logo

Urban Expeditions is a local travel company that began in 2003 offering a fun and dynamic orientation service to international students. The service was designed to help amateur travelers navigate the unique elements of the big city with efficiency and expedience.

Today Urban Expeditions curates customizable 4-hour city tour and game experiences for small groups. Each season they are called upon by hotel concierges, real estate agents, corporate groups and relocation companies to help their customers explore big cities. Urban Expedition operates on the core belief that regular navigation of the local scene enhances physical and mental health.

Who is Ontario Society of Senior Citizens' Organizations (OSSCO)?

We are a collaborative group of community minded individuals in our province who are committed to improving the quality of life for Ontario’s seniors. We do so by involving seniors through our various activities. Today, there are more than 140 organizations under OSSCO’s umbrella, representing 500,000 seniors in Ontario. In 2017, OSSCO celebrates 30 years of contributing to the quality of life for Ontario seniors.

We focus on 3 things – educational programming, research and public policy awareness. Through signature events and ongoing seniors educational programming, we keep the older adult community informed on issues of interest to an aging Ontario, and their voices heard by stakeholders.

This workshop is free of charge and light refreshments will be served.

Registration is required.  Call (416) 785-8570 or email communications-programs@ocsco.ca today.
