Turkish Tunes is a community music event presented by the Turkish-Canadian Society. The first Turkish Tunes took place in 2009. This is a volunteer effort of the Turkish community in BC to showcase the rich musical genres from Turkey. Local musicians who play Turkish music are promoted. The stage program includes examples from classical music, folk music, pop music and more. Dance performances are additional treats and at the end, the floor is left for the DJ and dancers! Alcohol will be served at the cash bar (over 19 years of age) and there will be delicious Turkish food!

DOORS open at 5:45pm; PERFORMANCES start at 6:45pm

TICKETS: TCS members:$20, Non-members: $30 (membership will be checked)

Note:

- NO Ticket sale at the Door!

- TCS membership is free for youth under 18. Hence, if our young friends become a member of TCS, they will only pay $20 ticket fee for Turkish Tunes-5 (https://turkishcanadiansociety.org/membership/)

- TCS membership will be checked and confirmed for all TCS members who purchase tickets

- PHOTO/VIDEO CONSENT Turkish Tunes is a public event and many photos and videos will be taken. By attending this event you give explicit consent for the use of your photos, videos by the Turkish-Canadian Society for publicity and promotion, including but not limited to social media, press releases and funding applications

- COVID-19 Currently, there are no restrictions for attending indoor events. However, attending this event (or not) will be your own discretion, and Turkish-Canadian Society does not assume any responsibility, legal or otherwise. We will be providing masks and hand sanitizers in the venue
