About this event
TWC acknowledges Black History Month and celebrates all voices inclusive of race, ethnicity, class, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical ability and mental health.
Join us for three special workshops with facilitators sharing prompts inspired by Black History Month (BHM):
- Tuesday February 23, 7:00-9:00 pm: Shirin Tobie-Paul, a TWC facilitator, will join as guest to share BHM inspired prompts
- Wednesday February 24, 9:30-11:30 am: O.Stephen Peart's regular workshop will feature BHM inspired prompts
- Thursday, February 25, 1:30-3:30pm: Leona Placid, a TWC facilitator, will join as guest to share BHM inspired prompts
Facilitated by writers well-versed in the Amherst method, TWC workshops provide a safe and inclusive setting for both new and experienced writers to explore their written voice. Participants will respond to prompts and will be invited to share their creations to receive positive feedback from their peers.
