Event description

Description

Sometimes our writing practice gets sidelined for a season. Legitimate demands — full-time jobs, family obligations, long "to-do"lists — eat up our time and energy. We become writers interrupted. The longer the hiatus, the harder it can be to recover the confidence, momentum, and discipline to revive and sustain a writing practice.

This workshop provides workable approaches to reboot your writing life:

  • Reframe - overcome mental obstacles
  • Regroup - put first things first
  • Recalibrate - design a personalized practice
  • Reignite - become your own muse
  • Reinforce - sustain renewed habits

The workshop includes group discussion, activities, and generative exercises. Please bring a notebook, pen, and a few pages of an abandoned work in progress (or just the germ of a story idea).
