Mark Holland is a Partner with New Monao Enterprise Corporation—a company developing a large master-planned community in the Okanagan. Mark worked as a city planner in the City of Vancouver and was the first Manager of its Sustainability Office. He then worked as a consultant for over a decade and in 2011 joined New Monaco Enterprise Corporate to create highly innovative development in the heart of BC’s wine country. Mark was named BC’s Planner of the Year in 2010 and in 2013 was awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for his contributions to the field of sustainability and planning for Canadian municipalities. The New Monaco project won the top planning award for small towns in Canada in 2012 from the Canadian Institute of Planners.

Come hear Mark's story about how he came into the Development Industry, some of the lessons and insights he's learned along the way and what decisions he's made to help him get to where he is today. These mentorship luncheons are very informal but infromative and are a fantastic way to learn from industry veterans.
