About this event
Description: UBC Botanical Garden will host our first Lunar New Year event in 2023 to welcome the year of the rabbit! Local makers, artists, and crafters will be selling their goods. The festive event will also feature lion dances, kung fu performances from UBC Kung Fu Club, dance performances from UBC Hanfu Culture Society and YunTang Dance Club. UBC Botanical Garden will also offer fresh flowers and potted plants for sale.
Tickets also include admission to the Asian Garden, however it is weather dependent.
Date and Time: January 14th - 15th, 2023 11:00AM - 4:00PM
Performance Schedule (both days):
- 11:30 am Dance performance by UBC Hanfu Culture Society and YunTang Dance Club
- 1 pm: Lion Dance and Kung Fu performance by UBC Kung Fu Club

Cancellation Policies: UBC Botanical Garden's Lunar New Year Market is a not for profit event. We do not have the capacity to change tickets for a different day or refund tickets. If the market is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, ticket holders will receive a gift card for the value of their tickets that can be redeemed for UBC Botanical Garden and Nitobe Memorial Garden admission and in The Shop in the Garden
