What is Hacker Day?
Hacker Day is a coding and networking event presented by WebDxD at UBC HackHub. Our attendees include local students, developers, designers, and entrepreneurs. They will participate in various sections in a day including a mini-hackathon, tech workshops, a career fair, and project demos.
1. Sharing experience
Attendees can meet and talk to experienced local developers, designers, entrepreneurs, get advice and learn from each other.
2. Hands-on coding
Coding with other developers. Attendees can come and work on their projects or start new projects. We will have on-site mentors providing help when they need.
3. Tech workshops
Attendees can participate in all workshops on Hacker Day for free, understand more about Vancouver tech industry and learn some more skills.
4. Get hired
Meet employers from local companies, find the best job match.
5. Project demo
Showcase your amazing ideas and projects to employers, other hackers, and potential investors, build up your network.
