UBC Public Health and Preventive Medicine Information Session (CARMS 2022)
Event Information
About this event
The University of British Columbia Public Health and Preventive Medicine residency program invites all interested medical students (particularly those applying in CARMS this year) to attend an information session. We are offering a virtual information session led by our program director Dr. Trevor Corneil and accompanied by several current residents. We are excited to share the amazing opportunities our program offers to prospective residents as well as changes/improvements underway. The information session will be followed by an FAQ panel discussion where the program director and current UBC PHPM residents will be able to answer any questions.
We will be recording this session if you cannot make it. You will be able to review the recording at another time.
Lastly, we recognize that CARMs and electives can be a stressful period in medical school. We are offering the ability this week and during the session for anyone to submit questions anonymously. You can also up vote questions you think are important to the top. We will do our best to answer as many questions as possible. We hope this allows you to still engage with us even if you cannot make it in person!
Please follow us on Twitter @UBC_PHPM for important program and CARMS updates!
Q&A: The Q&A tool will launch on January 15 and you will be able to submit questions in advance of the information session. These questions will be reviewed and answered during the info session on January 21.
