Profitable Sustainability

 PRESENTED BY:

Gordon Harris - President & CEO, SFU Community Trust

If it isn’t profitable, it isn’t sustainable. In the context of climate change, the building and real estate development industry will continue to face expectations for increased greenhouse gas emission reductions over the years to come. The key is in bridging the intersection of sustainability and profit.

Gordon Harris is an urban planner and President and CEO of SFU Community Trust. In his role at the Trust, he provides leadership in the development of UniverCity, an award-winning sustainable community adjacent to Simon Fraser University.

Come hear him speak about community building and how to get well designed sustainable buildings.
