Ukrainian Cultural Festival - "Colours of Ukraine"

Ukraine Harmony Foundation and United Way BC invite you to the Ukrainian Cultural Festival "Colours of Ukraine". Anyone interested in Ukrainian culture would be able to attend the event. It's a fantastic way to spend your Sunday afternoon for anyone interested in learning more about Ukrainian culture and tasting some authentic delicious Ukrainian food!

We would have multiple activities as a part of the event. No experience is necessary and you will be provided with all the tools and materials.

Free workshops on the following would be offered during the event:

1. Motanka dolls (by Svitlana Denysova)

2. Petrykivka painting (by Svitlana Denysova)

3. Birds of peace (kids workshop) (by Daryna Snizhna)

4. Ukrainian embroidery for beginners (by Elena Khvostova)

5. Canvas painting for beginners (by Daryna Snizhna)

6. Vinok (flower headband) making (by Elena Khvostova)

7. Painting on glass (by Andrii Denysov)

STICKY NOTES PROJECT

There would be a large map of Ukraine with sticky notes on which attendees would be able to write cheering messages to the people of Ukraine.

TAKE PICTURES AND SHARE!

Additionally, we will have a Ukrainian Photowall set where attendees would be able to take pictures with friends and family with Ukrainian props.

FOOD, DRINKS AND MUSIC

Traditional food and refreshments would also be offered during the event.

Some live performances by Ukrainian singers and musicians will take place throughout the day as well. The exact schedule of performances will be posted closer to the day of the event.

IMPORTANT! ONE WORKSHOP PER DAY PER PERSON!

Admission is free, however, we ask you to preregister for the workshop of your choosing in advance. On the day of the event, workshops would be offered on a first come first serve basis for those that didn't preregister for the event.

We ask you to please be mindful and register for only ONE workshop (per person per day) of your choosing. Please give others a chance to participate and experience Ukrainian culture.
