Children are welcome to participate and this might be a great way to include a child/ parent to participate together.

We will focus on brand-new players, beginners seeking to improve, and players who are anxious to advance their skills to the next level. These sessions will take place in C-tuning!!

Workshop Levels:

INTERMEDIATE

You know C-F-G and G-C-D chords and can do a simple strum while changing these chords and keeping a steady, slow beat.

ADVANCED INTERMEDIATE

You are comfortable playing 3-4 chords in 3 to 4 keys (C, G, F, A). You play a variety of basic chords (i.e., A, Am, B7, C, C7, D, Dm, E7, Em, G, and G7) and understand simple chord progressions (such as I, IV, V chords). You can sing and strum at the same time and can learn chords to simple tunes fairly quickly. You’re ready for some jazz chords, barre chords, some finger picking, and ready to explore a variety of repertoire on the uke.
