Event description
A Stage for Learning Inspirationally

About this Event

Connect. Learn. Dream. Belong.

Welcome to UnBrand!

We are creating a community of story tellers. Stories are the best way to capture an audience, to sell, and to be remembered. Our speakers are thought leaders with more than inspiration; they will be taking us on a journey of learning as well. Engage in the story. Embrace the knowledge. Enjoy the connections. Be part of something more in our unique and growing community.

  • 7pm: Introduction by our GUEST Host for the night, Bob Minhas.
  • 7:10pm to 8:10pm: Our speakers share from the stage.

_______________________

  • 5:30pm - 7pm: Join us at our Suburban Speaker Social (on Eventbrite) if you are thinking of venturing up on the stage. Or come early to enjoy dinner with our friends at Aw Shucks Seafood Bar & Bistro. You can see the Menu here: http://awshucks.ca/entrees/

1. Fazeena Haniff: Collision

You ever experience a moment, where the past and present collide and your entire life suddenly makes so much sense? This is the story of how I found myself one summer evening confronted by my demons and discovering the power to heal the past and simultaneously change my future.

2. Bev Mcleish: What it takes to keep your light going in the dark.

Bev will share how depression can arise from a complex series of events and how unpacking what happened can give you a light to see your way through the darkness.

3. Debbie Salmons: My Worst Money Mistakes

Before starting as a Financial Educator and Financial Advisor, Deborah Salmons worked as accountant in her own practice over 25 years, and as a tax specialist with CRA Canada Revenue Agency for 6 years.

Despite working with money, Deborah had her own issues regarding How Money Really Works. Looking back from what she didn’t know, to what she does know she laughs at what she calls her t-shirt collection of what not to do with money which she will be sharing on the UnBrand stage.

4. Brandon Schiafone: Title: Fate is Funny

In his early 20s, Brandon experienced a traumatic relationship circumstance that left him emotionally scarred, untrusting, and vulnerable. Uncertain how to recover, Brandon sought the guidance of a coach that helped him to overcome the pain and insecurity that were born of the situation. Eager to help others overcome similar challenges, he went on to become a certified master coach and started Love Like You’re Meant To, a consulting firm that aims to empower individuals to build the romantic life they deserve. His trauma and his recovery tie together in such a strange way, however. How, you might ask? Join us on October 9 to find out!

  • 8:10pm to 8:30pm: Our audience can mix and mingle with speakers and new friends.
