This workshop defines unconscious bias and micro aggressions, the negative impacts and how it is manifested in day to day interactions

About this Event

As the community becomes both more diverse and seeks to welcome more individuals and families from traditionally under represented communities to live, work and thrive in Huron County, we are hosting this workshop to raise awareness on how unconscious bias and micro aggressions fit into the overarching conversation on equity, inclusion and anti racism.

This is the first workshop in the Humanizing our Differences panel series which also includes the following webinars:

  • Understanding Cultural and Racialized Communities, Leroy Hibbert: March 17th , 3:30-5:00 pm
  • How to be an Ally, Andrea Moffatt: March 26th, 9:30-10:30 am OR March 31, 3:30-4:30 pm

We are offering another session of thed Unconscious Bias workshop with Dharshi Lacey on April 8th, 2:30-4:00, due to high demand.
