We can't go to the Caribbean .... so why not bring it to us!

Join us for another fun evening to reconnect with RSGC friends and be introduced to some excellent wines to shake away the winter weather.

The evening will be again be led by Neil Phillips, who talked us through some fine Canadian wines in October. Neil’s love of wine became a passion as he completed his first wine certification at George Brown a decade ago. Since then, he has received designations from The Court of Master Sommeliers, and the Society of Wine Educators, amongst others. He leads wine-tasting events for committed oenophiles. You may also know him from his spouse, RSGC’s own Mardi Michels.

In advance of the evening, you will receive a three-course Caribbean dinner for two (available in meat, fish & vegetarian options), plus two fine wines – delivered directly to your home. These Caribbean flavours will warm any winter soul. The same menu is shared per couple.

Meat Option: Starter: Caribbean Shrimp, Mango & Avocado Salad with Spicy Pineapple Dressing; Main: Braised Oxtail Jamaican Style, Rice & Pigeon Peas, Carrot Heavy Coleslaw; Dessert: Barbequed Cinnamon Pineapple with Rum Cream

You will choose your meal option as you select your ticket!

Accompanying wines (both a white and red) will be paired for the dishes, highlighting sun-filled wine destinations.

Neil will share a bit about the wine, the grapes, and the region – and we’ll all share an interactive evening of tasting and, of course, socialising! Come and enjoy a fun night catching up with RSGC friends in these COVID-times!

Cost (including delivery):

With Wine: $ 195 per couple; includes 2 dinners and 2 bottles of wine.

Non-Alcoholic: $ 150 per couple; includes 2 dinners.

Single meals are available for $20 less then the couples price.

Why is the single price only $20 less than the couple price?

We did not set the single price. It is from the caterer. It is better value to buy the couple meal and simply put the extra in the fridge for leftovers!

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

None - this is a Zoom event.
