Understanding Challenging Behaviour – Part 1
Participants will learn the function of behavior and why it may escalate. They will also learn to record meaningful date and interpret patterns. Strategies to manage the environment and decrease problematic behaviours in the classroom will be emphasized.
Note: Understanding Challenging Behaviour - Part 1 is a prerequisite for Challenging Behaviour and Communication Strategies - Part 2
About the Presenter:
This session will be presented by York Region Early Intervention Services (EIS). EIS is responsible for promoting the development, participation and inclusion of children within the community through education, planning, developing and implementing support plans for infants and young children with special needs and their families in Licensed Child Care programs.
