The United Voices Choir, with professional orchestra, are very pleased to invite you to enjoy our spring concerts in the spacious sanctuaries of Vancouver’s Kerrisdale Presbyterian Church and St. Paul’s Anglican Church in the West End.
Our 50 voice choir will be performing Cherubini’s vibrant Requiem in C minor and Rheinberger’s masterpiece Mass in C major. The Requiem is tender, passionate and dramatic. Beethoven chose the Requiem to be performed at his funeral service, as he considered Cherubini "the greatest living composer". Rheinberger was a very close contemporary of Brahms. His lyrical and melodic Mass, stylistically similar to Brahms, is reverent and optimistic, appropriate for spring.
Our concert offers a rare opportunity for Vancouver audiences to hear these magnificent works.
Tickets are $25. Refunds provided if the event is cancelled due to Covid 19 provincial health restrictions.

United Voices Choir performs larger choral works, accompanied by professional musicians and soloists, under the energetic direction of Dr. Greg Caisley, our Artistic Director. We are a friendly and inclusive group of approximately 50 choristers of diverse ages and backgrounds.
