This FREE, one-day event will bring together stakeholders in post-secondary health and safety education. Through the expertise of professionals from government and industry, post-secondary educators, and recent graduates, you will engage in the following:

  • health and safety management concepts, strategies, teaching modules, and case studies for immediate integration into curricula

  • safety culture advancement in academia and industry

  • business case for health and safety leadership in administration and project management

  • occupational health and safety law for academics

  • new graduate attributes desired by government and industry in terms of health and safety

The U of R and Minerva invite engineering, business, and all other disciplines to attend. (For Professional Engineers, attendance can be credited towards lifelong learning requirements).

Registration is required, and closes April 20. Refreshments and lunch will be provided. The day's agenda will be made available as details are finalized.
