About this event

The 2021 University of Toronto High School Design Competition (UTHSDC) is online this year! This event is an engineering design competition/hackathon open to all students in grade 9-12 hosted by Hi-Skule, the University of Toronto's Engineering Outreach club.

Sign up for a full day of planning, problem solving, and engineering on Saturday. The event includes mentorship from current engineering students, a clubs fair, and a design project ending with everyone's final projects being judged by a panel of alumni and industry professionals with a chance to win awesome prizes.

An opening ceremony will be held on the Friday at 6PM, and a closing ceremony and awards will happen on Sunday.

More logistical info will be provided later. Please keep a look out on your emails!

Students are also encouraged to form teams of 3 to 5. If you have a team, make sure all your team members get their tickets, and then have one team member fill out this form after everyone on the team has registered: [____]. If you are signing up individually, we will help you find a group for the competition. Details will be sent out to the email you use to register at a later time, so make sure your email is correct.

If you have any questions, please email outreach@hiskule.skule.ca
