Description

Unmasking the Myths 2018 is the fifth annual masquerade gala dinner fundraiser in support of the Little Warriors; an non-profit organization focused on the prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse.

The event will take place at the Edmonton Marriot & Rivercree Resort & Casino, on Saturday, September 8th, 2018 in the Rivercree & Enoch rooms. Doors open at 4 pm, with entry and registration valid until 530 pm. Cocktail hour and silent auction begin at 4 pm. Dinner begins promptly at 6 pm, followed by VIP speeches, video presentation, live entertainment by bands TBA.

Event is ages 18+ only. ID will be checked at the door if a guest appears under the age of 25. 100% of proceeds raised goes to the Little Warriors organization. Dress code is Formal. Running shoes, sandals, leggings, sweat pants, jeans, shorts, short sleeve shirts, and T-shirts/tank tops will not be permitted. Suggested attire for women: business dress, fancy cocktail dress or evening gown. Suggested attire for men: Suit or Tuxedo. Masks are MANDATORY, must be worn at all times, and entrance to event will not be permitted without one. Masks are available for purchase at the door as well- limited available.

Parking is free and there is lots of space available. Please enter the main doors of the hotel, and follow the event signs.

Discounted suit and tuxedo rentals are available through Moores Clothing for Men. Simply use reservation group (TBA) when purchasing at any Moores store location to recieve $40 off. PLUS a portion of proceeds from each rental will go back to Little Warriors. *Discount does not apply for retail- RENTAL ONLY.


Early bird tickets are available until March 31st for $95.00 each or $1000.00 for a table of 12 (Save $10 a person by purchasing a table). Starting April 1st until September 2nd, tickets become $115.00 each or $1200.00 for a table of 12 (Save $15 a person by purchasing a table). You can purchase hard copy tickets by cash or credit card by contacting the event coordinator for pick up/mailing arrangements. You can purchase tickets online here. When purchasing tickets online there is a surcharge fee- however, when purchasing by credit card or cash, there is no fee. It is up to your discretion on the payment method you prefer. Please note, if you purchase tickets online, hard copy tickets will be provided up until 2 weeks prior to the event. Purchases online made less than two weeks prior to the event will be required to show confirmation and ID at the door.


NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES WILL BE PERMITTED.

Please contact the event organizer with any food allergies, and any mobility, hearing or visual defecits, at least 2 weeks prior to the event so we can better accommodate you. Requests made less than 2 weeks prior to event might not be possible.
