Unplugged: The Future of Mobile Payments
with Alex Peh, Head of Market Development & Mobile for PayPal Canada

On April 8th join us at The Hub for a unique opportunity to hear from Alex Peh, Head of Market Development & Mobile for PayPal Canada. Alex is coming to town to mix and mingle with Vancouver’s champions and visionaries in the E-Com, M-Comm, Digital Payments and Fintech Space. He will share a brief overview of Paypal, how they see the world of payments evolving, and how they work with startups and technology partners to help them grow.

Select companies have an opportunity to attend 15 minute private meetings with Alex prior to the event. Spaces are limited.

Alex Peh 

Alex Peh
Head of Market Development and Mobile, PayPal Canada

PayPal Canada's Head of Mobile, Alexander is responsible for growing and evolving PayPal Mobile payments through Canadian technology Partners and Merchants. Prior to joining PayPal, Alexander was a European based Senior Strategy Consultant in the Mobile and Emerging Technology sector for clients such as Domino's, Audi, Microsoft and Vodafone Group. Born and raised in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, educated in Melbourne, Australia and with stints in Africa, South East Asia and Europe, Alexander spent a number of years travelling the globe in International Film and TV distribution, focusing on emerging media such as Mobile, IPTV, VOD and Digital Signage.

What is the cancellation policy?

All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

Do I have to print my ticket?

No. In fact, we'd prefer you saved a tree and didn't print your ticket! Please display your e-ticket on your smartphone for scanning, or provide your name to our registration attendants. Tip: The Eventbrite app for iOS and Android allows you to easily display tickets and manage registration right on your smartphone!

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Please be prepared to show photo ID to purchase alcoholic beverages.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

The Hub is conveniently located 7 minutes by foot from VCC-Clark SkyTrain station. There is ample free parking on the street, as well as a visitor parking lot that is available for an hourly rate. Further information on parking locations and rates can be found here
