About this event
Educators and Students in the Edmonton area are invited to join Richard Eaton Singers, Edmonton's premier symphonic choir, for the dress rehearsal performance of their upcoming concert Handel's Messiah. An exciting, rare opportunity to experience this seasonal favourite. Written by George Frederic Handel in just three short weeks during the summer of 1741 for Easter celebrations the music traces the life story of Jesus Christ in three sweeping sections: Prophecy & Fulfillment; Suffering, and Redemption. This concert is a co-production with ESO.
Enjoy a special presentation by conductor Leonard Ratzlaff using specially designed workbooks, and get Up Close & Personal with soloists, musicians, and singers for an inside take of what it is really like to be on the Winspear stage.
