Educators and Students in the Edmonton area are invited to join Richard Eaton Singers, Edmonton's premier symphonic choir, for the dress rehearsal performance of their upcoming concert Mendelssohn's Elijah. Last performed by RES in 2012 to great acclaim, this magnificent choral work has remained enduringly popular with audiences since the first public performance on August 26, 1846. Produced by us in 1977 and 1981, and beloved by RES choristers, we are excited, once again, to showcase this masterpiece.
Enjoy a special presentation by conductor Leonard Ratzlaff using specially designed workbooks, and get Up Close & Personal with soloists, musicians, and singers for an inside take of what it is really like to be on the Winspear stage.
FREE pizza, snacks, drinks and fabulous draw prizes included.
