Times: 9:00 AM-1:30 PM
Drop Off: At 8:45 am
Through a series of activities, challenges and play-based learning our camp facilitators will be showcasing a variety of urban wildlife. Participants will get to learn more about the many species that call Vancouver home, from bees to birds to urban carnivores. Each day will focus on a different animal kingdom allowing participants to learn new skills like how to use compound microscopes or remote sensing wildlife cameras.

About Jaylen Bastos from Zoboomafoolish
Experienced Researcher, Jaylen Bastos has a history of working in the conservation and environmental sciences field. Since graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Conservation, Science and Management from The University of British Columbia, Jaylen has founded Zoboomafoolish Co. a land-based learning organization based out of Vancouver that offer various programs focused on animal behavior and urban ecosystems. When not working in the urban environment, Jaylen is focused on their Masters in Forest Science at the University of British Columbia or can be found canoeing, camping, or bouldering.
