About the Organizers
CityHive is a Metro Vancouver based not-for-profit organization on a mission to transform the way that young people are involved in shaping their cities. We work to ensure young people have the agency and opportunity to participate in city planning, local decision-making, and sustainability issues. We work with city-shaping institutions and municipalities to create meaningful youth engagement practices, and simultaneously work with young people to build capacity and provide opportunities to address urban challenges.
We acknowledge that the event is taking place on the unceded, ancestral, and traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. CityHive also recognizes the Katzie, Kwantlen, Kwikwetlem, Qayqayt, Semiahmoo, S’ólh Téméxw (Stó:lō), Stz'uminus, scəwaθenaɁɬ təməxʷ (Tsawwassen), and all Coast Salish Peoples on whose land we do our work.

Notice of Photography
We will be taking photographs to document the event and celebrate youth-led initiatives and community-building.
