URBANYEG is excited to announce the sequel to this year's For the People by the People (FPBP) event held this past May 28th! This time, we're in a new venue and throwing a Halloween bash! Only 150 tickets will be sold!!
Enjoy the company of our city's best creatives in an evening of fun with socializing, music, dancing, performances, and a grand prize for the best costume! Come dressed in your favourite costume! See graphics below for performers and guest speakers!
Sarah Dharshi is one of two guest speakers She is the founder of BBM Dance Company, a dancer and choreographer, student, someone who focuses on empowering women and promoting independence, a huge mental health advocate, and she is the social media director at #MakeItAwkward. She will be speaking on her BBM dance, overcoming challenges, mental health and the #MakeItAwkward campaign.
Our second guest speaker is Jeff Wolsleger. He will be sharing his inspiring story of being a suicide survivor and the importance of speaking about mental health. He now spends his time sharing his story and focuses on helping others.
If you are a photographer, videographer, makeup artist, hairstylist, model, graphic designer, web designer, in marketing, social media or, if you just want to connect and network with like-minded creatives who want to make our community better, this is the event for you!
As always, we will be supporting Mental Health and will be donating a portion of proceeds to Momentum Walk-In Counselling!! Momentum will be on site to chat with guests about their services and how they help thoses with mental health concerns.
We'll be featuring a few vendors and some amazing door prizes! If you didn't get a chance to come to our event in May, now is your chance to see what URBANYEG is all about!!
