Have you always wondered how to cook beautifully seared steak and scallops that you get at fine dining restaurants? Did you know that it can be done in less than 30 minutes? There is no better feeling than cooking and preparing a lovely dish for your loved ones and seeing their satisfied look!
The cooking show's main course:
Seared Steak & Scallops, charred asparagus, roasted baby potato, pearl onions, black garlic dijon, truffled soy brown butter!
For this special event, we are honoured to have Professional Chef Isaac Tang demonstrate for us. Chef Isaac is an imaginative chef with over 17 years of experience, and multiple accolades under his apron stemming from his many years in innovative restaurants. From apprenticing at Market By Jean-Georges Vongerichten (3 Michelin starred New York French Chef), he was then promoted to Sous Chef and an integral part of the Flagship Shangri-La Hotel opening in Toronto in 2012. It opened to much fanfare while hosting one of the most exciting Toronto International Film Festival events of that decade. As one of the opening Chefs at the Shangri-La, Isaac oversaw the hotel’s fine dining restaurant Bosk, and its inception of the concept of modern contemporary. After many years with Shangri-La and Bosk, Chef Isaac left to pursue his own adventures.
