Set in 1976 on a fictional Mi'gmaq reserve and in the context of the residential school system, Rhymes for Young Ghouls is Jeff Barnaby’s debut feature film.


UTM’s 50th Anniversary Film Festival features a mix of established and up-and-coming filmmakers from Canada and around the world. They have been selected to represent the diversity of UTM and the surrounding community. Each evening in the series consists of a reception in the CCT Atrium followed by the screening and a panel discussion and Q&A with the director or film star in CCT1080.

Admission is free; registration is required. Pay parking at UTM will not be enforced on the evening of the screening.
