Join us for an hour of local love stories and strengthening vital connections in our community.
United Way British Columbia – Southern Interior Region will be launching its 2021 Annual Campaign at a virtual Breakfast – on September 15th at 8:00am PDT.
Join hundreds of United Way community champions from across the Okanagan, Columbia, Shuswap, Similkameen, Trail & District and East Kootenay regions for an hour of local love stories in our community.This year’s campaign kickoff is particularly special as we commemorate the first campaign season of our newly-minted United Way British Columbia – which will wrap around the theme of strengthening vital connections amidst the pandemic.
The virtual campaign breakfast kickoff features the following:
- Indigenous Welcome
- Introduction to the 2021 United Way British Columbia campaign theme
- A year in review for United Way British Columbia – Southern Interior region
- Launch of the campaign video – “Not all Pandemic Stories are the same”
- Impact stories:
- Strengthening connections for seniors in community
- Food security for stronger communities
- Investing in children and youth for a better future
- Show your local love – ways to get involved
