About this event

UX 101 introduces you to the world of User Experience Design and highlights why it should matter to you. We'll cover the Design Process as well as the tools and techniques needed to better understand your users' needs and create more usable, accessible and desirable products/services.

By the end of the course you will be able to:

  • explain what User Experience is and is NOT
  • differentiate between UX and all the other similar sounding terms
  • recognize its importance and the ROI (return on investment) of taking the UX approach
  • understand the Design Process, tools and technique

Eligibility

This 3.25 hours session is organized for BC Government employees who are looking to introduce Agile methodology to their own area of work (not specifically digital or service projects), but is the same material aimed primarily at new teams entering the Exchange Lab.

Duration

The online version takes 3.25 hours, usually from 8:45 am to 12:00 pm.

There is no cost to taking this course at this time.
